Learning Language through Songs & Music...

There's Always Tomorrow
by Gloria Estefan

I've been alone inside myself for far too long
I never really wanted it that way, but I let it happen
If I could do it all again, my life would be
infinitely better than before
I wouldn't waste a moment
I'd make time for laughing with my friends,
make love, make music, make ammends,
try to make a difference, try to love, try to understand
Instead of just giving up, I'd use the power at my command

Because there is always tomorrow to start over again
Things will never stay the same,
The only one sure thing is change
That's why there's always tomorrow

I guess it took a little time for me to see
the reason I was born into this world
and what I have to go through

For I've finally realized that I could be
indefinitely better than before, definately stronger
I'll face whatever comes my way,
savor each moment of the day,
love as many people as I can along the way,
help someone who's giving up,
if it's just to raise my eyes and pray

Chorus

Because there's always tomorrow to start over again
Things will never be the same
The only one sure thing is change
That's why there's always tomorrow

Bridge

Before your last setting sun
and everything your heart has longed for
has yet to be one
Yes, there's always tomorrow,
though people come and they go
But if you've brought some love into their lives,
then you've got something to show.

I Hope You Dance
Sanders, Sillers
Sung by Leeann Womack

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid, love ever leaves you empty handed
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the chance to sit it out or dance

I hope you dance
I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances but they're worth taking
Loving might be a mistake but it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out reconsider
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance

I hope you dance
I hope you dance

Dance...

Wide Open Spaces
Dixie Chicks

Who doesn't know what I'm talking about?
Who's never left home, who's never struck out?
To find a dream and a life of their own
A place in the clouds, a foundation of stone
Many precede and many will follow
A young girl's dreams no longer hallow
It takes the shape of a place out West
But what it holds for her, she hasn't yet guessed

She needs wide open spaces
Room to make her big mistakes
She needs new faces
She knows the high stakes

She traveled this road as a child
Wide eyed and grinning she never tired
But now she won't be coming back with the rest
If these are life's lessons, she'll take the test

She needs wide open spaces
Room to make her big mistakes
She needs new places
She knows the high stakes

As her folks drive away, her Dad yells, "Check the oil!"
Mom stares out the window and says, "I'm leaving my girl."
She says, "It didn't seem like a lot long ago
When she stood there and let her own folks know".

She needs Wide Open Spaces....
